At Western Pump and Power, heavy equipment isn’t just a business — it’s a family tradition.

Our roots in the construction and equipment industry go back nearly a century, starting with my grandfather in the 1930s. He began buying and using heavy equipment and trucks to build roads, and later contributed to airport construction during World War II. He continued working in the construction and logging industries well into the 1980s.

My father entered the construction world in the 1960s and remains active today, primarily in aggregate and asphalt concrete production — with a history of tackling major earthmoving projects.

I started working full-time in construction in the late 1980s, focusing on earthwork, underground utilities, and subdivision development for both private and public sector projects. For the past 10 years, my focus has shifted to acquiring, evaluating, and selling quality used equipment for the construction industry.

With over 30 years of hands-on field experience, I know how to assess equipment and make sure it’s job-ready. At Western Pump and Power, we specialize in reliable, used construction equipment including:
